i woudl have given a decent review, but alas, the breakfast fruit was a total letdown with just whole apples. The dinner host was completely clueless about the menu options. And can someone explain why I wasn’t offered an upgrade or a welcome gift?

stunning mountain views, outdoor pool with scenic views, animal sanctuary in the gardens
No elevators!!! The distance from the city center is quite inconvenient, requiring a bus ride that can take up to 20 minutes!!! The dining options are limited, especially since the restaurant closes on Mondays and Tuesdays!!!

Clean and well-appointed rooms with high-quality food.
The hotel lacked an elevator, making it difficult for carrying our bags upstairs. We found it quite far from the train station, and had to rely on public transport, which wasn't as convenient as I had hoped. The restaurant staff were unwelcoming and unhelpful, which left a sour note on our dining experience.

It was just a decent option for a momentary visit in Lucerne with good value considering price it charged. The bus stop right in front of the hotel made it super easy to explore the city. Make sure to check the local dining options, as some are a bit limited nearby.

Couples looking for a cozy escape
Our room was huge and gave us plenty of space to just chill out after a long day. Loved the buffet breakfast, I mean, who doesn't want a huge spread of hot and cold dishes to choose from to start your day right, right?
It wasn’t cheap, but honestly, worth it considering the experience.

A spacious room offered beautiful views of the mountains and lake, creating a serene atmosphere. The buffet breakfast was delightful, featuring high-quality options. However, the hotel lacks air conditioning, which made for some uncomfortable nights during warmer days. Additionally, it was challenging to find suitable dining options nearby aside from the hotel restaurant, which, while good, was not varied enough for longer stays. The connection to downtown via the nearby bus was very convenient, but still, more options would enhance the overall experience.
